When in a new relationship (of substance!) comes along it's great to finally get past the phase of "job interview-itis" and get to know each other deeper. But, it's another thing when experiencing new things with your partner that might not be all that "new." Remember that restaurant you're taking your new beau to? That was where your ex first said I love you. Remember the picnic in the park last week you took your potential partner? You took your ex there for her birthday. Your S/O finally called you by a nickname... problem is your ex used to call you that too!

Dating & being in multiple relationships, you will eventually come across the same stages / activities / milestones that you did in previous ones. Situations like these may give you pause, but should you be concerned or are they just things that are par for the course in relationships? On this episode, I discuss things in my personal life I've encountered making new memories with my new girlfriend while old memories occupy the same space. Honeymoon is over. back to reality! This episode the couples see where the other lives. Dominique is not feeling Mackinley's "base of operations" as questions if this marriage is really something she wants to go for. Gina does not want to move in with Clint because of uncertainty, but Clint reminds her that they're married and it's not gonna work if they don't interact. Airris is having trouble connecting with Jasmine and only sees her as a friend while Jasmine wants Airris to rip off her clothes. Nicole and Chris' leases are up for their respective apartments so they are at a crossroads to forego and move in with each other or keep their own spots for another year. Shaq and Kirstin has little to no chemistry and Pastor Cal has arrived to try and find out why.

After that whole "I don't like Red head" remark from Gina last episode, Clint opens up a can of worms saying that he gravitates more towards slender and athletic women. Uh Oh. Jasmine starts to get a little horny for Airris, but doesn't remember 3 days ago when Airris was asking frisky questions and she shut him down. Welp, take this cold shoulder! Nicole and Chris talk about how sex was used as punishment in their last relationships. Kirstein talks about how she doesn't like Shaq's bald head, his sense of humor, so Shaq asks her directly.. what DO you like about me? Wuh Oh.

Nicole and Chris have an open discussion about kids. Chris definitely does and Nicole is open, but Chris needs an enthusiastic yes if we were to continue down this road. Kirstein blames the pandemic for being closed off and she pleads to Shaq to not stop trying to connect with her. Airris gets mad that Jasmine keeps eating the evil swine aka bacon.

He doesn't know her emotionally yet and they need to build chemistry (and yet she stay sleeping on this man's chest, *sigh*). Jasmine is being hunted down by Airris' cousin Fallon who has not liked this experiment since the beginning. Stay on your toes girl! Nicole needs to be protective of Chris's heart as he may take this experiment a little too seriously. Like mother like daughter because Dom is now grilling Mack about the different races/cultures he's been with.

Dominique is cool as a cool cucumber waiting for her turn to wed, as Mackinley describes the type of wife he (physically) wants. Clint doubles down and commits to Gina after seeing her smile, while Kirstin contemplates her husband considering he has two strikes against him already.

"It's been a long road getting from there to here, It's a been a long time but my time is finally near.." Those words spoken by Russel Watson were never truer then this point in my life. As Rifiki says in Disney's "The Lion King", It is Time. So, here I am dipping my big toe back in the dating pool. Is there pee in it like everyone suggests? No, but at times there's a waft of bullshit. It's most definitely "a whole new world" out there. But if you want to get over the hump to Happiness, you got to be able to deal with the nonsense and idiocy . So, I put my big boy pants on and went on my journey to discover what the hell is out there in the dating world and I'm back to report on my findings. Although at times things looked bleak, as the aforementioned song continues, "I got faith of the heart... I'm going where my heart will take me." Hopefully my heart doesn't steer me wrong.
